Accessible artwork remediation
If you already have a project designed that you want to make accessible, we can add the necessary requirements for assistive technology into the existing artwork.
This is done with minimal design changes – it’s all hidden from view. If needed, we’ll advise on options to improve the accessibility of the visual content, so you can decide the best way forward.
We can work with InDesign, most Adobe software, and MS office Word or Powerpoint. Contact us to understand more about the process and get an estimate for your project.
Accessible PDF remediation
If it’s not possible to send us the original document files, we can still help. We’ll make your existing PDF as accessible as the current design allows.
Why is this the most limited option?
We can only add elements for assistive technology – we can’t change the visual content (how the document looks). Our PDF accessibility health check will show you how well your document meets the guidelines, what could be improved and highlight anything which cannot.
For PDF remediation, you must provide the final version of your PDF – the accessibility work cannot be transferred over to new files.
